About me

Education

As long as I can remember, I was surrounded by horses. I've started by ridding them as a kid, taking care of the stables all afternoon long once a week.

Then I undertsood more and more what it meant to be around horses, I rode less and observed their interactions a bit more.

I could never be appart from them for long, so I finally decided to work with them and improve their well being.

I studied for my qualification as an Equine Dentist Technician at the European School of  Equine Dentistry, Belgium.  I gained much practical experience including in stables in Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands.

Personal experience

I have lived and worked in Ireland for two years.  I have experience of stables in Ireland and I am capable of offering my services through the English language.

I have taught my peer group of students in the specialised vocabulary of equine dentistry.

Working abroad

I am available to work outside of France and will travel to owners' yards by appointment.  I am available to work with owners of groups of horses who may benefit from dental check-ups and care.

I also intend to return to Ireland for dentistry work a number of  weeks each year.

Please contact me for further information and rates.

Working Method

Respect for the horse.  I work in cooperation with the animal in a secure space.

Each horse has its own personality and history.  Horses accept the care because they can be heard when they are scared or in discomfort.  I offer them some time to think and relax without force.

Working without sedation.  I “code” the horse's response to a restraint.  When the horse wants a break, expresses discomfort or fear during the care, it will do so in a safe way that is coded from the start.
