My services

As a trained Equine Dentist Technician, I will come to you to give your horse the dental care it needs. This will maintain and improve his good health.

Horses can't speak the way we do, but they can:

  • toss the head on your rain contact
  • dunk hay into water
  • quidd 
  • show difficulty to finish their ration
  • eat with difficulty

It's always better to act before those problems happens. Get your horse checked regularly !

Diagnosis

After a proper examination of your horse's general condition and mouth health, I will give a diagnosis and explain what can be bothering your horse in his every day life or sport's career. I will also be able to recommend further interventions to help your horse stay well and ride out painlessly

Floating

I will proceed to

 care for your horse's mouth by floating enamel points and by correcting the problems that cause discomfort in the chewing process or in its sports performance.  This can prevent injuries to the horse as they grow.

I can correct dominances by grinding them down so the horse's chewing movement is optimised.  When the mastication process is optimised thanks to a balanced mouth, the horse needs less quantity of their ration /  feed for the same gain of energy.

Extractions

If your horse is ridden with a bit, extracting wolf teeth will improve your rein contact and ensure that the horse is comfortable and ridden safely without any pain.

Make an appointment with your local vet to arrange sedation and local anaesthesia, so they can be removed.
